Full Time Vet Nurse – Amberley

We are looking to recruit an energetic, efficient and enthusiastic fully qualified Vet Nurse or LA Technician who has a strong small animal focus for our Amberley Clinic.
Our lovely Annie is relocating to the North Island so unfortunately we need to replace her.

Our Amberley Clinic is a modern and well-equipped facility, with on-site digital radiology, ultrasound, laboratory, Smartflow technology, full Idexx equipment and a very spacious working environment.  We also offer rehabilitation and physio treatments, and would be ideal for anyone with a special interest in this field.
You would be working with a team of 4 vets and 5 nurses, as well as a supportive administration team.

NCVC offer an after-hours service to our clients, so being able to join our after-hours roster is a definite advantage.

We enjoy an often challenging and varied caseload, which includes working dogs, so if you are looking for variety and a chance to build your professional skills, we can absolutely provide this for you.
Being part of The Vet Company offers us opportunities to share additional CPD events with our staff on top of our annual training programme supported by our experienced team and our key external suppliers.

If you have the following key personal attributes and skills, then please apply today!

  • Team player with ‘Can do’ attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Effective problem solving skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Experience with animal handling, welfare and nutrition
  • Confidence in anaesthesia, surgical and medical nursing
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
  • Experience using Vision RPM System is an advantage

We offer competitive remuneration, with medical insurance, kiwisaver, staff purchasing and discount privileges, and individual CPD plan.

To apply, please forward your cover letter and CV to me via email before Friday 31st January 2020.
